The procedure for Long-Term Cold Stacking is basically same as for Cold Stacking with an emphasis on using long lasting inhibitors, protective coating etc. and durable materials.
Inhibitor and protective coating etc. may need to be renewed after two to three years as per the Manufacturer’s recommendation and stipulated in the Lay-up Plan.  
Portable Generator(s) and De-humidifier(s) may need to be replaced for major overhaul or breakdown during the lay-up period.
Maintenance work may be required during the lay-up period to maintain the external protective coating.
